About Kevin Ross, LMFT (CA lic. LMFT44268)
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Los Angeles, California. A lifelong student and teacher of the psychological and spiritual life, I have been deeply influenced by Carl Jung’s Analytical Psychology as well as by spiritual teachers from a variety of traditions.
My work is integrative, depth-oriented, and guided by the needs of each client. Depending on the person and the moment, therapy may involve clarifying goals, exploring patterns, challenging limiting thoughts and beliefs, working through relationship or life difficulties, or engaging deeper layers of meaning through psychodynamic and depth-oriented work. I also have extensive experience helping clients navigate transitions in career, relationships, and major life change.
I am the developer of the T-BEK™ Cycle, an original clinical framework that helps illuminate how thoughts, beliefs, experiences, and personal truth interact in the process of healing and change. Designed to complement established therapeutic approaches, the T-BEK™ Cycle offers a practical and compassionate way of understanding recurring patterns and supporting meaningful growth and integration.
I hold degrees in Communications and Counseling, and completed doctoral studies and clinical internships in Clinical Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2003. My experience in mental health spans more than 30 years across private practice, group practice, adolescent residential treatment, school and outpatient settings, community-based work, and outpatient psychiatric clinics. I am also trained through the Wellcoaches School of Coaching in wellness coaching, supporting clients in creating healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Many of my clients are successful professionals in fields such as entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, and technology.
I have a broad range of clinical experience with individuals, couples, families and groups. Among others, I welcome the following areas of concern:
Depression/Anxiety/Panic Attacks
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Workplace Bullying
Effects of past and present Physical or Emotional Trauma
Relationship Challenges
Creativity Blocks
